Science – Week of September 6th

Hoping your weekend was filled with family, fun, and football!!  (Or, food, if you are not a football fanatic, like me!)

Reminder that this week is Green, Blue, Green, Blue.

Tuesday/Wednesday:  Students will review and practice identifying independent variables, dependent variables, constant variables, and control groups.  We will also practice analyzing and graphing data.

Homework that is due Thursday/Friday was assigned last week.  (Read and answer ALL questions on pages #8-#16 in the Science textbook.)

Thursday/Friday:  Students will practice their Scientific Inquiry skills by designing and testing paper airplanes.  They will be responsible for researching, developing a testable question, making a hypothesis, writing procedures, investigating, charting data, analyzing the data on a graph, and making conclusions.
